CERES, CA - A suspect nicknamed the "stretchy pant bandit" for wearing women's clothes has been arrested for a Ceres bank robbery.
Ceres police Det. Derek Perry said numerous tips from the public aided officers in identifying Leonard Charles Brown, Jr. He is suspected of robbing a Bank of America in Ceres on Sept. 18 while dress as a woman, Perry said.
Brown, Jr. was arrested by Alameda police officers Sunday. He was booked into Stanislaus County Jail on a robbery charge.
